The documentary "Ramadan in Lisbon" intends to record the celebrations related to the month of Ramadan (ninth month of the Islamic calendar, marked by the practice of fasting from sunrise to sunset) by the Muslim populations residing in Portugal and more specifically in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon. The film will seek to portray multiple experiences and account for the diversity of practices, perspectives, actors, ingredients and rituals that can be observed during this festivity.
