A research team coordinated by Anabela Carvalho, a researcher at CRIA, and composed of Dora Rebelo and Tânia Santos, will carry out an external evaluation of 11 projects funded under the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation's Climate Participation Initiative, between October 2024 and June 2025.
The evaluation aims to contribute to a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the public/citizen participation processes promoted by the projects, as well as the impact and scope of these climate action initiatives. The evaluation is intended to be a useful tool for the Foundation's Sustainability Program team, in order to identify best practices, new opportunities for intervention and strategic recommendations.
