Abstract

Through interview methodology and non-participant observation, the aim is to: a) Evaluate the role that livestock dogs play in tolerating wolves; b) Understand the interactions between dogs and other elements in the grazing areas; c) Identify issues/interactions (existing and potential) that arise with the local community and visitors (e.g. tourists) and those involved in other activities as a result of the use of livestock dogs, as well as possible adaptations.
