Scientific project focusing on two aspects on the interface between environment and health: on the one hand risk scenarios, in Portugal and in other contexts where there is evidence of circulation of important zoonoses, such as Africa and Asia, on the other hand, deepening the perceptions about the benefits and well-being of the so-called contact with nature or the experience of wild spaces. A first objective would be to socially characterize scenarios of coexistence with wild species and potential risk of zoonoses. Multidisciplinary collaboration where the anthropological approach is integrated in the investigation of the zoonosis scenario. The second aspect linked to the concepts of well-being and human health will explore the experiences in Portuguese classified natural areas with the presence of large wild predators, deepening the discourses and meanings in terms of well-being and health.
