Biographical Note

Susana Trovão is a Full Professor of Anthropology at the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The areas of expertise she currently lectures and investigates in comprise Migrations, Gender, Religion, Inter-ethnic Relations andTransnationalism. She has published on international peer-reviewed journals, such as Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies ; Culture & Psychology; Gender, Place & Culture; Social Identities ; Gender & History ; Journal of Women's Studies; Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs; Journal of Family Issues, and Itinerario : Journal of Imperial and Global Interactions.
