Biographical Note
Sílvia Raposo is born in Lisbon on June 9, 1993. She is a collaborative researcher at CRIA. Doctoral student in Performing Arts and Image in Motion, has a degree and master in Anthropology, having prepared the dissertation «State of Insurgency»: Performance, politics and resistance in contemporary artistic practices. She is currently developing a PhD thesis on Frankenstein Aesthetics. Begins her activity as a researcher at the Jill Dias Archive Laboratory (AJD / CRIA / FCSH-NOVA). Develops research on performance domains, contemporary artistic movements, art and postmodernity, artistic hybridity, political resistance, memory, etc. She is a producer, actress and playwright, founder of Companhia Vidas de A a Z and D. Mona Productions. Currently, she founded and directs the São Rafael Galleries.
