Biographical Note
With a PhD in Portuguese Studies, with a focus on Literary Studies, Madalena is now developing a Master's project at CRIA on the symbolic value of the work of art, stemming from the study of a contemporary art foundation in Portugal. She has published mostly on Fernando Pessoa and European modernisms, and is now focusing on the study of Anthropology of Art,Visual Cultures, Artistic Practices, and Material Culture.
