public.person.short_bio

It was the awakening of my interest in forensic contexts that led me to graduate in Anthropology at FCSH and to undertake an internship in Human Osteology at LABOH. Even though I had a slight idea about wanting to pursue a biological or forensic branch of Anthropology, it was definitely a confirmed decision after this enriching experience. So I like to think of myself as a hybrid anthropologist, a part of me is biological/forensic and the other part is social/cultural. My main interests of study are gender identity and sex assigned at birth.
