Anthropologist from the Catholic University of Temuco, Chile. She holds a Master's and Doctorate (c) in Social Anthropology from CIESAS in Mexico City, specializing in the State, Nation, and Indigenous Peoples of Latin America. She is a professor and member of the Center for Sociocultural Studies (CES) of the Anthropology Department at the Catholic University of Temuco. Her research interests include human rights, violence against the Mapuche people during the Chilean military dictatorship, memories from an intersectional perspective, forced disappearances in Mapuche territory, and archives of the repression and resistance of the Mapuche people.
