Biographical Note
Luiza Cotta Pimenta is a Visiting Researcher at CRIA/ISCTE-IUL, PhD Student and Master in Social Sciences at UFJF (Minas Gerais, Brazil). She has a Law degree (2013) with major in Civil Law (2016). She is a member of the Research Group in Family, Emotions, Gender and Sexuality (FEGS/UFJF), focusing on: Anthropology of Emotions, Human Rights, Women Rights, LGBTQI+ Rights, Citizenship and Gender Diversity. She is the author of the book "Direito e transexualidades: a alteração de nomes, seus papéis e negociações", published in 2022.
