Biographical Note

PhD in Anthropology from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) with a thesis on the Vila Bela revelry and sandwich internship at Universidade Nova de Lisboa; Master in Anthropology from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) with a dissertation on the Cuiabano rasqueado and its expressions of local identities. A professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso since 1995, she was director of the Rondon Museum of Archeology and Ethnology when she produced research on indigenous insertion in the city, which resulted in the video “Indigenous memories of the city”. She has published articles in the area of heritage, parties, home and family.
