Cristiano Pereira has a degree in History (University of Minho), and a Master's degree in Heritage and Cultural Tourism (University of Minho), with a dissertation about “chegas de bois” (bullwrestling) in Montalegre. After this research, he produced an ethnographic exhibition held with the support of the Ecomuseu de Barroso - Casa do Capitão (Salto, Montalegre), and exhibited in others portugueses museums. Currently, attend the FCT PhD in Anthropology: Politics and Display of Culture and Museology, where he is conducting a research about “chegas de bois” in Montalegre, Boticas and Bragança, all in the North of Portugal.
