Catarina Leal (Lisbon, 1986) holds a degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia from the School of​ Communication and Media Studies of Lisbon (ESCS - 2004-2008) and a master's degree in Anthropology, specializing in Visual Cultures, from the NOVA University of Lisbon – School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA FCSH - 2012-2014). She is currently enrolled in the FCT Doctoral Program in Anthropology: Politics and Displays of Culture and Museology (NOVA FCSH and ISCTE-IUL).
