Biographical Note

PhD in Anthropology from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). He has a diploma in Social Education, a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology and a master's degree in Social Science Research from the University of Extremadura. He has carried out his research on topics such as ageing, loneliness and food, with more than 60 publications in leading international scientific journals and publishing editorials. He has participated as a reviewer of articles in social sciences and humanities journals. He has teaching experience at the University of Extremadura and the University of Seville. He was a visiting professor at the University of San Carlos in Guatemala.
