Biographical Note
Alexa Ranaldo is graduated in Intercultural Communication at the Università degli Studi di Torino, Italy, in 2017. She holds a Master Degree in Anthropology, with a specialization in contemporary themes, concluded in 2019 at the NOVA - School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA/FCSH). She is currently enrolled in a PhD in Anthropology at ISCTE-IUL Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and NOVA - School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA/FCSH) with a research project funded by FCT - Fundação Para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, focused on anthropology of health, body, women's health and therapeutic practices.
