Biographical Note
Alexandre Bergamo graduated in Social Sciences at Unicamp (1993) with emphasis in Antropology. He got his MSc (2000) and PhD (2006) in Sociology at the University of São Paulo (USP) with Sociology of Culture as a concentration area. He did Post-doctorate fellowship at USP (2010) and at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (2014-2015). He was a professor at Sociology and anthropology department at Unesp/Marilia Campus from 2001 to 2010 and since 2010 he is a professor at the Sociology and Political Science department at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He also teaches at the Post-Grad in Political Sociology program at the same university. He has experience in the area of Sociology, with focus in Sociology of Culture. He is a member of the Comitee of Ethics in Research (CEPSH) of UFSC since 2017 and leader of METROPOLIS - Lab of Social Research.
