Part of a multidisciplinary team from the project Fostering Human-Wildlife Coexistence in Guinea-Bissau is currently conducting fieldwork in Guinea-Bissau, working to promote sustainable coexistence between local communities and wildlife.
The team is composed of specialists from various institutions: Elena Bersacola from the University of Exeter (United Kingdom); Amélia Frazão Moreira from the Centre for Research in Anthropology (CRIA - NOVA FCSH); N'Dei Tchula and Euclides Monteiro from the NGO Palmeirinha, Guinea-Bissau; Elísio Domingos Mandim and Irondina Januário Natiori from the Institute for Biodiversity and Protected Areas (IBAP, Guinea-Bissau); and Iáia Camará, representing Cadique Nalu, Guinea-Bissau.
