public.project.abstract

The TRANSRELEX project intends to establish a dialog between religious identity building in family and community contexts and fabrication of religious heritage in the Mediterranean, based on individual case studies. The idea is to show the role that the processes of patrimonialization play, along with the relation with the supernatural, in the transmission of the religious habitus. The project will focus on different case studies on Jewish, Muslim, Catholic and Protestant heritage around the Mediterranean (Portugal, France, Tunisia, Morocco, Italy and Spain).
