public.project.abstract

This project aims to proposing the "Feast of our Lady of navigators", Culatra, Algarve, as Intangible Heritage to DGPA (Algarve General Direction of Heritage and Culture). Being the festivity property of the community, the investigation is developed within the framework of the Association of residents of the island of Culatra. In addition to the fieldwork, the Feast of Our Lady of Navigators, will also place a photo exhibition, a short documentary, a book and make a Local Interpretation Centre, with the acquis constituted during the investigation. The project (# 607) was approved by the programme Participatory Budget of Portugal (OPP), 2017 and is financed by it.
