Abstract

Fragmented Cities, an interdisciplinary program/constellation based at the independent architecture, research, and art space c/arpa, connects the center and the peripheries of Lisbon with the aim of critically addressing the hierarchies established in contemporary urban space.
Integrating collaborative networks of analogous national and international spaces, it hosts both emerging and established professionals. Its activities explore the relationship between expanded architecture, art, performance, and subalternized vernacular practices, in dialogue with artists from the Global South and diasporas.
