The Postgraduate course in Interdisciplinary Gender and Sexuality Studies (PGEIGS) is funded as part of the ‘13 - More Digital’ project, developed within the Impulso Adultos Programme under the Recovery and Resilience Programme (PRR). Residents in Portugal will be reimbursed 50 per cent of the tuition fee.

Gender relations and sexuality are key issues in contemporary societies and are associated with social inequalities, multiple forms of discrimination and violence. At the same time, gender and sexuality are important and valued forms of identification and subjectivation in the constitution of identities.
The Postgraduate course in Interdisciplinary Gender and Sexuality Studies at Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa offers interdisciplinary academic training that crosses Anthropology, Sociology and Psychology scientific areas and includes specialists in gender, intersectional feminist theory and methods; LGBTQIA+ politics and activism; queer and trans perspectives; masculinities; gender-based activism and social movements; sexuality and health; violence and human rights. The dialogue between academia, public and private institutions, social movements and specialists guarantees plural, complex and multidimensional training.
