Tiago Silveiro de Oliveira graduated in Anthropology from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of UNL, in 2007, and completed a Master, also in Anthropology, in 2009, from the same institution, that distinguished his dissertation as the best in the field (year 2009-2010). He is affiliated to CRIA FCSH-NOVA and is currently developing his PhD (FCSH-UNL, Lisbon and UOC, Barcelona). His research has been supported by a fellowship disbursed by FCT (2012-2016) and it is focused on food habits of the Cabo Verdean migrants in relation to identity, memory and place.
