Biographical Note
Simone Frangella is an anthropologist with a PhD from UNICAMP (Brazil, 2004). She was a researcher in the United Kingdom (King's College and Goldsmiths College 2006-2008) and at the Institute of Social Sciences - ULisboa (2009-2025). She has researched topics that connect mobility, vulnerability and forms of agency. She has worked on homelessness, transnational migration, and urban territorial experiences. Her subjects of interest are family and intergenerational relationships, corporeality, gender, labour relations, and conviviality. She is currently researching the territorial margins and neighbourhoods configurations in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area and their connection with migratory histories.
