Biographical Note
With a degree in Anthropology (FCSH-UNL) and a master’s degree in Public Policies (Iscte), has been developing research on the social and political organisation of care. Her Master's dissertation explores the political and social framework of informal care in Portugal, analysing the political process of the creation of the Informal Carer Law. In 2022 she completes a specialization in Care Policies with a Gender Perspective at the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO). She is currently doing her PhD in Anthropology (ISCTE-IUL and NOVA/FCSH), developing a research project, funded by FCT, on care, gender and public policies, which explores the values, meanings and boundaries between formal and informal care.
