Degree in Applied Anthropology in Development by the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro and Masters Degree in Sociology of Health and Illness at ISCTE-IUL, has worked on various national and international projects in the field of health and development at IHMT-UNL. Currently a Phd student in Anthropology at ISCTE-IUL. Colaborating investigator at CRIA and mentores at Open University in the department of Social Sciences and Management. The main areas of research interest focuses on anthropology of health and illness, systems of knowlegde and practices, ethnobotanics and ethomedicine.
