Biographical Note
Has a BA degree in Asian Studies from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon and a Master degree in Anthropology from ISCTE-IUL. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Anthropology at ISCTE-IUL, where he seeks to develop an articulation between hermeneutical phenomenology and anthropology, with application to field work. He is currently developing research on rural Japan, relational ethics, Japanese thought and philosophy and theory of knowledge in anthropology.
