Biographical Note

Researcher-artist in Performing Arts from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I began my trajectory in the street carnival arts. Founder of the collective Gigantes na Luta, I work with stilts in parades and interventions, transforming the body into a practice that feels, imagines, and reinvents the city. My research and practice are intertwined in an interest in the political dimensions of street carnivalization, where I investigate and build collective ways to reinvent and live the city.
