Biographical Note
PhD student in Anthropology: Politics and Images of Culture and Museology at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Lisbon (NOVA-FSCH) in association with the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) and the Center for Research in Anthropology (CRIA- PT). Master in Cinema and Video Arts from the State University of Paraná (Unespar), campus of Curitiba II/Faculty of Arts of Paraná (FAP), with emphasis on African Cinemas and Geopolitics in Cinema. Graduated in Bachelor of Social Sciences from the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT-Campus of Porto Nacional) with specialization in Sociology of Arts and Visual Anthropology. He is a researcher associated with the Brazilian Society of Cinema and Audiovisual Studies (SOCINE) and the Latin American Studies Association (LASA). He worked as Resident Anthropologist at the Archeology Department of the Paranaense Museum (MUPA-PR) collaborating with Preservation of archaeological collections: packaging, mechanical cleaning and management of technical reserves; Museological Documentation: Cataloging and Numbering of the pieces; Preventive conservation of bone collections; and mainly in the Collaboration in the collection program of the Museological Plan that regulates the care, regulations and public policies of the MUPA collection for the next 5 years. He was also a Linked Technical Resident assigned to the Collection Sector of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Paraná where he worked with: Document Management - Documentation and archiving related to the collection sector, loans, terms, lending; Conservation and Preservation of works - packaging of two-dimensional and three-dimensional works, mechanical cleaning and management of technical reserves and Assembly and Disassembly of various Exhibitions.
He works and is interested in the following topics: Visual and Image Anthropology, African Cinemas, Film Festivals, Critical Museums Studies, Ethnographic Collections and Indigenous Ethnology;
