Biographical Note
PhD student in anthropology: politics and images of Culture and museology from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Lisbon (NOVA-FSCH) in association with the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-ECSH). Scholarship holder with funding for doctoral research by the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation (FCT), awarded in 2023, in fourth place in the anthropology panel. He is an associate researcher at the Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia (CRIA-PT) where he develops investigations related to Indigenous Ethnology and muselogical restitution of films and photographs to the indigenous peoples of Brazil. Master in Cinema and video Arts (PPG-CINEAV) from the State University of Paraná (Unespar, Faculty of Arts of Paraná-FAP). He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT-Porto Nacional Campus). In 2024 his project written for the Museum of image and sound of Paraná, was awarded second place in the National Museum modernization award of the Brazilian Institute of museums (IBRAM), with a project on the development of new technologies for conditioning and ventilation control to reduce livres acids in acetate films. In 2023 he was awarded a prize for young anthropologists Sponsored by the British magazine 'Critique of Anthropology' in association with the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, while in 2022, as a researcher , he also won a travel grant from the University of Pittsburgh to present his doctoral research at the International Congress of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA) in Vancouver, Canada, as well as a two-year association at the same institution. She is active and interested in the following topics: film and photographic Museum restitution, culture and practice of Audiovisual preservation, Visual and image Anthropology, visual ethnographic collections, genocide and Indigenous Ethnology in Brazil, as well as histories and Geopolitics of African Cinemas in European Film Festivals.
