Graduated in Art History, master in Portuguese Art History by Universidade do Porto, and master in Anthropology – Visual Cultures by Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2015). At the present, Mariana Silva is a PhD student in Anthropology – Politics and Displays of Culture and Museology at ISCTE-IUL/FCSH-NOVA. Her PhD is about contemporary heritage making processes in industrial contexts, implemented through the museums and tourism. She has also experience as guide and educator in museums and tourism projects.
