Irene Sánchez Izquierdo has a PhD fellowship funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, at the Department of Philology, Communication and Documentation at the University of Alcalá (Spain) in the PhD program in History, Culture and Thought. She has a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University and a master's degree in Visual Arts and Education from the University of Barcelona. She is part of the team of researchers of the “FRONTESPO-ATLAS” project on the Spain-Portugal border.
