Biographical Note

I am an anthropologist with a focus on the circulation of ideas, particularly, ideas about nature. Currently, I am doing a PhD in Anthropology: Politics and Displays of Culture and Museology (ISCTE-IUL/FCSH-UNL) funded by FCT. I am also a self-taught painter that lately combined art and ethnographic research to address intersubjectivities between me and my interlocutors. My research interests include traditional/local ecological knowledge and how this knowledge changes throughout time, perceptions of nature to understand how people interact with the environment, nature conservation and environmentalism.
