Gonçalo Salgueiro is an academic and researcher with interest in the areas of Funerary Anthropology and Archeothanatology. They completed their degree in Anthropology (FCSH) in 2022, and soon afterwards a postgraduate degree in Bioanthropology and Archaeology in 2023, where developed a passion for the study of funerary practices and their cultural meanings. They’re currently enrolled in a master’s degree in Archaeology at FCSH where the research focus on the study of the relationships between death, society and culture, through the analysis of archaeological remains and human biological remains.
