PhD older in Anthropology at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa since 2025. Fabiana Leonel de Castro holds a master in Interdisciplinary Studies on Women, Gender and Feminism from the Federal University of Bahia (2010) and graduated in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Goiás (2007). She has experience in anthropology, with emphasis on gender and racial relations, working mainly on the following topics: race relations/racism, gender/sexism relations, sexualities and intersectionalities. She worked as a coordinator to the Coordination of Human Rights Education (2011/2012) and as coordinator to the Coordination of Education for Diversity, Ethnic-Racial Relations and Quilombola Education at the Secretariat of Education of the State of Bahia-Brazil (2012/2013).
