Biographical Note
Eduarda Rovisco obtained her PhD in Anthropology from ISCTE-IUL (2010), with the thesis “‘You Don’t Want To be Castilian’. The Border and Smuggling in Idanha-a-Nova”, on the relationship between national identity and the illicit circulation of people and goods on the Portuguese-Spanish border.
Between 2011 and 2017, she was an FCT post-doctoral research fellow at CRIA, where she is currently researcher. Since 2011, she works on national identity, tourism and handicraft in Cape Verde.
