Biographical Note
PhD candidate and Master in Sociology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2020). He holds a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (2017) from the same university. He was a fellow of the PET - Tutorial Education Program (UFMG), between 2014 and 2017. Researcher at the Center for Crime and Public Security Studies (CRISP/UFMG). He has conducted research in the prison system of Minas Gerais on the use of force by imprisoned ex-military police officers and investigated the perceptions of the use of force by the elite group of the Minas Gerais Criminal Police (COPE). She is interested in topics related to crime, the police, the prison system and APACs. She is currently a CAPES doctoral fellow and is carrying out research into the expansion of APACs in Brazil and Portugal.
