Biographical Note
Clara Espirito-Santo is a biologist (Univ. Lisbon – Portugal) with a MSc in Human Dimensions in Wildlife Management (Memorial Univ. Newfoundland – Canada), working for 20 years on opinion surveys and public involvement processes in Iberian wolf management, as a consultant and independent researcher. She also works as a facilitator in complex processes of environmental conservation. After a post-graduate course in Nature Tourism, she also gained professional experience in ecotourism when running her own business in northern Portugal until 2014.
