Biographical Note
Carlos Chirinos holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology and Communication from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV, 2021), a Master's degree in Medical Anthropology and International Health (URV, 2015), and a degree in Social Anthropology (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, 2010). He was a Margarita Salas Postdoctoral Fellow (2022-2024) at Oxford Brookes University and the URV. He is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow (2024-2027) at the Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia (CRIA) in Lisbon and at the Population Studies and Training Center (PSTC) at Brown University.
