The BeFRAIL webinar series aims to introduce and contextualise research related to the study of epidemics and diseases through the assessment of human remains and their contexts. The BeFRAIL project aims towards an holistic transdisciplinary approach to human frailty in the past via the assessment of an archaeological site related to the 3rd Order of Our Lady of Carmo in Porto (Portugal), in use between 1801 to 1869: years of cholera and war. The series comprises 7 sessions with the first, ‘The use of radiographic imaging in bioarchaeology and forensic anthropology’, taking place on the March 14th, at 3p.m., Lisbon time.
