Incorporating Francisco Araújo’s Cycling Legacy into the Leonel Trindade Municipal Museum
The study focuses on Francisco Araújo's collection, the mechanic of the iconic cyclist Joaquim Agostinho, including approximately 35,000 pages of clippings and newspapers dated between 1926 and 2016. This project involves digitizing and cataloging the material to create a publicly accessible database. The initiative aims to preserve cycling heritage, promote historical research, and highlight the cultural significance of cycling in Portugal and beyond.
