CRIA Seminars 2026
The CRIA Seminars 2025–2026 constitute an annual series that brings together the four research groups within a shared calendar, promoting the presentation and discussion of ongoing research, research projects, as well as books and other scientific publications.
The initiative aims to strengthen the sharing of scientific work and foster dialogue across different research areas, offering a comprehensive overview of the themes, approaches, and methodologies that characterize CRIA’s scientific production. The sessions take place every Friday at 12:00 p.m.
Session 3 – Problematizing “Territory” in the Context of the Energy Crisis and Energy Transition

Drawing on discussions generated within the FCT-funded project “Emerging Energo-geographies and Political Mobilizations in the Framework of the Green Transition: An Anthropological Approach” (ENERGEO), I will present several case studies located in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique, focusing on large-scale natural gas and graphite megaprojects.
Organized by Elizabeth Challinor (CRIA – NOIVA FCSH) and Vera Lazzaretti (CRIA Iscte) | GI Circulation and Production of Places
