DescriptionHuman evolution geneticists believe that humans reached their current geographic distribution relatively recently and expanded from one or more populations located in Africa.
In this lecture, the speaker will discuss how the models used and genetic data from other primates allow us to make statements about human evolution. He will also question the significance of the models and narratives in population genetics.
