Since its foundation, CRIA has been committed to strengthening the links between research and advanced training. Not only its researchers hold a significant experience in this field, as the centre also frequently opens calls for academic and research projects’ traineeships aimed at students in different academic levels.
Furthermore, CRIA actively participates in its four universities’ postgraduate offers, organising and co-organising PhD, masters, postgraduate programmes, elective course units in undergraduate courses, as well as specialisation courses and open courses, some in summer schools (see previous courses). CRIA’s researchers also collaborate in other academic activities, often interdisciplinary, promoted by other teaching and research institutions in Portugal and abroad.
Noteworthy in this endeavour is CRIA’s participation in the PhD programme Anthropology: Politics and Displays of Culture and Museology funded by FCT and resulting from the collaboration of CRIA/FCSH-Nova, CRIA/ISCTE-IUL, IELT/FCSH-Nova and INET-md/FCSH-Nova.
