Biographical note

Graduated in Art History, master in Portuguese Art History by Universidade do Porto, and master in Anthropology – Visual Cultures by Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2015). At the present, Mariana Silva is a PhD student in Anthropology – Politics and Displays of Culture and Museology at ISCTE-IUL/FCSH-NOVA. Her PhD is about contemporary heritage making processes in industrial contexts, implemented through the museums and tourism. She has also been working as guide and educator in museums and tourism projects.
