Biographical note

Sociologist and researcher, João Mineiro holds a master in Sociology from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) and is currently developing a PhD in Anthropology in the same institution, with a PhD scholarship from FCT, conducting ethnographic research about the Portuguese parliament. He is the author of several articles and book chapters about inequalities and social classes, youth and precariousness, higher education, deontology in science. In his academic career, he won four Prizes of Merit and Academic Excellence and a Caixa Geral de Depósitos Award by ISCTE-IUL.
