Individual Fellowships Marie Sklodowska-Curie 2018 – CRIA as Host Institution

Deadline for applications for the Marie Curie fellowship: 12th September 2018, 5 pm (Brussels time)


Under the H2020 framework program Scientific Excellence pillar, CRIA is available to be your host institution in the field of Anthropology at the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowships call (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018).

CRIA is a research centre in Anthropology, multisituated in four Portuguese universities – ISCTE-IUL, NOVA FCSH, UC and UMinho. Currently, it has 208 researchers including university professors, researchers, post-doctoral and doctoral fellows, among others. The four combined universities allow CRIA to create a unique and comprehensive environment, having the resources and facilities to support research and teaching at both national and international levels.

CRIA’s research activities fall into four main research groups: 1) Circulation and Place-Making, 2) Environment, Sustainability and Ethnography, 3) Governance, Policies and Livelihoods, 4) Practices and Politics of Culture. For more information on CRIA, visit: http://cria.org.pt/

If you wish to have CRIA as your host institution please sent us your proposal by August 20th to ana.carrapato@cria.org.pt. The proposal must include:

1)      Full name and e-mail;
2)      CV;
3)      Motivation letter;
4)      Research project (in English, maximum 2.000 words);
5)      Name of CRIA’s senior researcher that will supervise your project (you must have his/her commitment prior to send us the proposal);
6)      Indication on the type of action under H2020-MSCA-IF-2018 call: https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/topics/msca-if-2018.html

Note: Proposals to CRIA will be evaluated by the research group coordinators (the research group to which the senior researcher belongs to). Proposals will only be evaluated if they include all the required data and documentation.

Applicants will be informed of CRIA’s decision until September 3rd  through the designated e-mail address.
